Terms of engagement
These terms apply when you commission audits for fintech work from Connectivity Cloud. Last updated 28 July 2026.
Acceptance
By requesting an engagement brief, signing a scope note, or using this website to submit information, you agree to these terms. If you act on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
Services
Connectivity Cloud provides independent audit and assessment engagements as described in written scope notes. Website content is informational and does not itself create an engagement. Work begins only after both parties confirm scope and fees in writing.
Client responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, timely access to documents and staff, and a named liaison. Delays in access may extend timelines or require a revised fee. You remain responsible for remediation decisions and for any filings with regulators or partners.
Intellectual property
Findings letters, evidence indices, and related work products prepared for you become your property upon full payment, except that Connectivity Cloud retains ownership of underlying methodologies, templates, and prior know-how. You may not republish our work as a third-party attestation without our written consent.
Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s non-public information and use it only for the engagement. Obligations survive for three years after the engagement ends, or longer where law requires.
Liability
Our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited under Taiwan law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or decisions made by third parties based on our findings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct.
Independence
We do not implement remediation for the same scope we have audited when doing so would impair independence. If a conflict arises, we will disclose it and may withdraw.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts in Taiwan have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or related engagements, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
