Data we collect

When you submit a form we collect your name, email address, engagement interest, preferred review window, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If you subscribe to the quarterly briefing we store your email address.

Purposes and legal bases

We use enquiry data to respond to audit briefs, prepare estimates, and administer engagements. We use limited analytics cookies (when accepted) to understand which Field Notes pages are read. Processing is based on your request to take steps toward a contract, our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice, and consent where required for non-essential cookies.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months if no engagement follows, or for the engagement term plus seven years where professional and tax records require. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with hosting and email providers acting as processors under contract, or when required by Taiwan law. Engagement work may involve sharing necessary contact details with your nominated liaison only.

International transfers

If processors store data outside Taiwan, we require contractual protections appropriate to the destination and the sensitivity of the data. Audit working papers for clients remain under access controls agreed in the scope note.

Your rights

Subject to Taiwan personal data protection rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain processing. You may lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwan authority. To exercise rights, email hello@connectivitycloud.digital.
