About

An audit practice rooted in Taiwan fintech fieldwork

Connectivity Cloud began as a small group of former compliance officers and internal auditors who had sat on the other side of rushed diligence packs. We built a practice that privileges evidence trails over slide decks.

Why we exist

Fintech firms in Taiwan face layered expectations from the Financial Supervisory Commission, bank sponsors, and investors. Too many “readiness” projects produce polished policies that never touch the settlement desk. Our mission is narrower: test how controls run, write findings people can own, and leave the firm clearer than we found it.

Working approach

We lock scope before fieldwork, sample with documented rationale, and challenge provisional findings with process owners before anything reaches the board. We decline engagements that ask us to rubber-stamp a pack we have not tested.

Delivery mixes on-site walkthroughs — often in Taipei meeting rooms or Pingtung operations floors — with careful remote document review between visits.

What we value

  • Plain language in findings letters
  • Respect for staff who keep controls running day to day
  • Honest ranking of issues, including mild reservations
  • Independence from implementation fees that would bias our letters
